10 Years of PRISMA – A Decade of Impact
07-04-2025In April 2025, PRISMA European Network proudly celebrates 10 years of dynamic collaboration, meaningful partnerships, and a forward-looking commitment to quality youth work across Europe. What started as a visionary Erasmus+ KA1 initiative in Cluj-Napoca — European Youth Capital 2015 — has flourished into a vibrant and trusted network of over 30 member organisations from more than 20 countries.
Born under the project name “Projects, Resources and Insights – a Social Media Approach,” PRISMA stands today as a leading informal European network advancing digital youth work, quality standards, and international cooperation in the youth sector.
The #Road2Benalmadena
To mark this milestone, PRISMA launches a dedicated media campaign: #Road2Benalmadena, leading up to a key networking seminar that will gather youth work professionals from across Europe.
From January 2025, the campaign builds momentum with:
- The launch of PRISMA’s refreshed website
- A special newsletter and campaign posts tied to Erasmus+ deadlines
- A public Anniversary Webinar on April 15, 2025, 17:00–19:00 CET
- Inspiring stories, throwbacks, and digital memories from PRISMA’s 10-year journey
Seminar Highlight: Level Up Your Youth Work
A central moment in the anniversary celebrations will be the PRISMAEU10 Seminar: “Level Up Your Youth Work (A4)”, funded by the Romanian National Agency through Erasmus+, and coordinated by GEYC.
Where: Benalmádena, Spain
When: April 25–30, 2025
Participants: 32–34 people from 15+ countries, including 1–2 representatives per organisation
Countries: Erasmus+ Programme countries only
Target Group: Youth work professionals in leadership roles (founders, board members, managers, project leads)
With four full working days, the seminar aims to:
- Familiarize participants with EQYP and Erasmus+ quality standards
- Share innovative practices in digital, green, and social youth work
- Foster meaningful partnerships and follow-up plans for Erasmus+ project development
Looking Ahead: The Next 10 Years
Beyond looking back, this anniversary is also about envisioning the future.
As part of the seminar deliverables, participants will co-create:
- A digital booklet showcasing best practices and a vision for the next decade of youth work
- Organisational follow-up work plans for future partnerships and Erasmus+ applications
- Ongoing collaborations and potential study visits to Dublin and Tallinn.
With the support of its community and funding partners, PRISMA reaffirms its mission: to connect, inspire, and empower youth workers through excellence, cooperation, and digital innovation.
