A Strategic Gathering for Youth Work Professionals

The PrismaEU10 Seminar will take place in Benalmádena, Spain, from April 25 to April 30, 2025. This event, funded by Erasmus+ and the Romanian National Agency, is designed to strengthen the quality, digitalization, and sustainability of youth work across Europe.

With 32 participants from 15+ countries, this seminar will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, strategic planning, and future collaborations among experienced youth work professionals.

Objectives of the Seminar

The seminar is aligned with PrismaEU’s commitment to advancing high-quality standards in youth work. Participants will:

  • Deepen their understanding of Erasmus+ quality standards and EQYP principles.

  • Share and explore best practices in green, social, and digital youth work.

  • Engage in strategic planning for future partnerships within the PrismaEU network.

  • Contribute to discussions on the European Year of Digital Citizenship Education.

  • Develop action plans for long-term impact within their organizations.

The PrismaEU Network: A Decade of Impact

Established in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, the PRISMA European Network has grown into a key actor in youth work, digital transformation, and cross-border collaboration. The network currently includes over 30 member organizations across 20+ countries.

This acronym reflects PrismaEU’s mission to foster cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and digital innovation in the youth sector.

The PrismaEU10 Seminar marks an important milestone in the network’s journey, offering a space to reflect on its progress and set the stage for the next decade of impact.

 

The #Road2Benalmádena: Activities

To ensure participants are well-prepared, the #Road2Benalmadena campaign began in January 2025, featuring:

  • Launch of the upgraded PrismaEU website 

  • Targeted communication through an internal newsletter and social media updates.

  • A preparatory webinar on April 15, 2025 (17:00-19:00 CET) to align expectations and objectives.

Additionally, until June 2025, follow-up activities will take place to support participants in applying for funding and implementing projects with their new partners.

A Comprehensive and Interactive Seminar Experience

The four-day program in Benalmádena will provide an opportunity for participants to:

  • Engage in expert-led sessions covering quality youth work principles.

  • Attend interactive workshops focusing on green, social, and digital youth work.

  • Collaborate in strategic planning sessions for future Erasmus+ projects.

  • Exchange knowledge and insights with professionals from various European countries.
