The Schwarzkopf Foundation is once again seeking nominations for its prestigious Young European of the Year Award. This award recognizes young Europeans between the ages of 18 and 26 who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to promoting a peaceful, diverse, and inclusive Europe.

The winners of the award will receive a cash prize of 5,000 Euros, which can be used to fund a six-month internship with a European institution or to support a project that promotes European integration and solidarity. This award not only acknowledges the winner's achievements but also offers them the opportunity to join a European network and become a part of the jury of the Schwarzkopf Europe Award.

Anyone can nominate a candidate for the award. A jury consisting of members of Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe, the Representation of the European Commission in Germany, and the European Youth Forum will select the winners. The award has previously been won by exceptional young individuals, including Constantin-Alexandru Manda, who was nominated by GEYC and PRISMA in 2021.

Deadline: The nomination process for this award is open to the public and will run until April 10, 2023.
