The ECOSOC Youth Forum 2023 is an annual event that provides young people with the opportunity to engage in dialogue with UN Member States and other international actors. This year's theme is "Accelerating the COVID-19 recovery and full implementation of the 2030 Agenda with and for youth." The Forum will take place on April 25th-27th, 2023 at the UN Headquarters in New York, with virtual participation available.
The 2023 ECOSOC Youth Forum will specifically review the progress of SDG 6 on clean water and sanitation, SDG 7 on affordable and clean energy, SDG 9 on industry, innovation and infrastructure, SDG 11 on sustainable cities and communities, and SDG 17 on partnerships for sustainable development. The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation, with opportunities for networking and thematic breakout sessions.
