In February 2021, Prisma European Network hosted a PrismaEU Talks on the challenges and opportunities of online debate platforms. One of the event’s conclusions underscored the need to train young people, older adults, and mentors to be more resilient to misinformation.
In June such actors will gain access to the Social Media Resilience Toolkit, a project funded by the European Commission aiming to build critical engagement with new media!
“The objective is to empower participants in critical and agentive media literacy, by addressing pressing media literacy and civic engagement themes.”
The project will gather a collaborative repertoire of materials on misinformation resilience, carry out intergenerational workshops on critical agency and engage young people and older generations in B-courses and focus groups.
