PRISMA EUROPEAN NETWORK LAUNCH IN CLUJ NAPOCA, ROMANIA

18-04-2015

When was Prisma European Network born?

On the 18th of April 2015, during the first PRISMA European Fair.

PRISMA was then a complex KA1 mobility project aiming to empower youth workers, youth leaders, and project managers from 22 youth organizations from 12 countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Turkey - European Union and Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia - Eastern Europe & Caucasus).

In April 2015, the PRISMA European Fair gathered over 20 European organizations to bring European opportunities to Cluj-Napoca young people.  The event was organized in the frame of the European Youth Capital - 2015 by GEYC together with SHARE Cluj-Napoca Federation. PRISMA's launch was part of PRISMA Seminar, a 3 days interactive seminar for 28 participants from 12 countries and 22 organizations. Its purpose was to create a European Network of organizations interested in developing their capacity through social media tools

PRISMA European Fair objectives were:

O1- to empower the participants in using social media tools for project management (collaborative work, time management, internal communication, visibility);

O2- to create a European network of organizations interested in developing their capacity through social media tools;

O3- to promote the Erasmus+ framework in order to encourage participants to develop future projects together;

O4- promoting cultural diversity in a European context;

Today, PRISMA European Network is still committed to these objectives,  along with its 23 Member Organizations (MOs).

On the 18th of April 2021, PRISMA European Network will celebrate its 6th birthday. Follow PRISMA on Linkedin, Instagram, and Facebook to join the festivities.
