EDCE Week and the PRISMA Framework
EDCE Week 2026 was organised within the PRISMA Framework for Digital Democracy and Citizenship, supported through the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme.
The framework includes a Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) mechanism. Through this mechanism, financial support can be provided to third parties to implement activities that contribute to the framework’s objectives. In the context of EDCE Week, this support enabled local actors and PRISMA Ambassadors to organise activities and engage their communities in digital citizenship education.

What comes next? EDYS26
Digital citizenship is becoming democratic citizenship.
How we access information, participate in public debate, interact with institutions and exercise our rights is increasingly shaped by digital technologies.
At the same time, disinformation, unequal access to digital opportunities, rapidly evolving technologies and changing online spaces are creating new challenges for democratic participation.
EDYS26 asks how Europe can strengthen meaningful participation and democratic resilience in this changing environment, and what role young people should play in shaping what comes next.
All EDCE Week 2026 Ambassadors will come together at EDYS to present the campaign’s Impact Report and share the results of the activities implemented across the seven countries.
The campaign’s Impact Report will bring together the results and learning from the activities, documenting the reach and contribution of EDCE Week 2026.
EDCE Week 2026 was organised within the PRISMA Framework for Digital Democracy and Citizenship (Project 101235778), co-funded by the European Union under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme.
